10 of the world’s weirdest cafes and restaurants

Posted on

From paying to cuddle strangers, to drinking from mini toilets, here are world’s strangest cafes:

1. Vampire Cafe – Tokyo Japan

The dark and gloomy decor in Tokyo’s Vampire Café make it feel like something straight out of an Anne Rice book. There are two rooms, a coffin room and a ceremony room, both modelled after the tales of Dracula. The staff are dressed as vampires and the menu is as vampire-themed items, with some dishes served in mini coffins.

2. The Sweatshop – Paris, France

The Sweatshop combines coffee and crafts, making for a much more productive cafe-loitering experience than we’re used to. Rent a sewing machine by the hour and learn a new skill while sipping your café au lait.
